Hokey Pokey with Bella

I made hokey pokey with my mum. She came to school to teach Room 21 about Science because she was a Science teacher! It was very fun. At the end we got to take one piece of hokey pokey back home.  It was delicious!!!

When my mum was cooking the hokey pokey I did a yeast experiment for the class. This is what I did:

  • I got a cup of warm water
  • I put some yeast in
  • I mixed it then I put 4 sugar cubes in
  • Then I mixed it together until it all disolved together
  • Pour the mixture into a bottle
  • Put a balloon over the neck of the bottle
  • Put the bottle with the balloon on in a warm place
  • As the yeast warms up, it makes the balloon blow up!
What a cool experiment!
